Senior Representative: Hayley - Western Grove High School, Western Grove, AR

Hayley's sweet, easy-going demeanor and down-to-earth personality, mixed with her amazing ability to be photogenic in any situation made her an absolute dream to work with. When we asked her if she would like to include her Jeep in her photos, she asked if she could bring along her boots and an American flag. Of course, we said "YES!!" One of the main qualities we look for in a Senior Representative is a person owns their style!
Her session took place on The Buffalo National River, with her mom and sister along for the adventure.

Senior Representative: Kayle - Valley Springs High School, Valley Springs, AR

We had so much fun with Kayle during her session in downtown Springfield, MO. After Kayle was accepted into the Senior Representative Program, we knew right away that we wanted find a way to combine her two loves: literature and dance.  It's not every session that a photographer gets to cut loose and be their true, dorky selves, but Kayle's session really brought out the silliness while we were standing in the middle of an open field, throwing books high into the air to get "flying books" for the creative concept image below. And, boy, it was worth it!

Note: No books were harmed in the making of this image. ;)

We were a sight to see, Kent with his camera and long lens, and Carolyn throwing the books as high in the air as possible so he could fire off the shutter as many times as possible while they were airborne. We joked that, from a distance, it probably looked very much like skeet shooting, and we may or may not have yelled, "PULL!!!" once or twice before the books got tossed.
The rest of Kayle's session took place in the little nooks and crannies that we love around downtown Springfield, MO.

Featured Senior Session: Bailey - Willard High School, Willard, MO

Bailey is our Featured Senior for 2016. He attends Willard High School in Willard, MO where his is active in marching band. His senior portrait session took place at multiple locations near downtown Springfield, MO.

We just can't wait to get started with the next group of reps!! The deadline to apply to become a Senior Representative of Kent & Carolyn Photography is January 31st, 2016! Please follow this link for details about the program and fill out an application for yourself or your child.
